NJCPA appoints Tondi to head Finance & Administration.

Tondi will oversee the accounting department and will be responsible for the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of NJCPA and its affiliates. He will also help the Society strategize membership programs, advocacy work, and increasing the pipeline of CPA candidates.

The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) has appointed Greg Tondi as the director of finance & administration. Tondi, a CPA and CGMA, brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit, industry, and academic sectors. He previously served as the controller at the United States Council for International Business in New York. In his new role, Tondi will oversee the accounting department and will be responsible for the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of NJCPA and its affiliates.

Tondi’s responsibilities will include budgeting, financial reporting, cash management, investments, tax compliance, payroll, internal control systems, and purchasing. With his background in academia, Tondi will also help the Society strategically plan for membership programs, advocacy work, and increasing the pipeline of CPA candidates.

Tondi has a B.S. in finance from Rutgers University School of Business and an M.S. in accounting from New Jersey City University. He previously worked as the controller at the College of St. Elizabeth and held various positions at Prudential Insurance Company. He also served as an adjunct professor at New Jersey City University, teaching business and accounting courses and organizing networking and mentoring programs for students.
